01 / application

Manage soil before extraction

A controlled belt feed makes incoming material visible and avoids overloading the washing stage. Assess soil and grit removal, drainage and inspection before the vegetable is reduced to a mash.

02 / application

Define the recovered product

A pressed liquid and a screened pulp have different solids contents and downstream transfer requirements. Select the press for a liquid separation duty or the pulper for pulp recovery after preparation appropriate to the feed.

03 / application

Specify the wet-area connections

Discuss drainage, product-contact cleaning, reject collection and feed/discharge elevations. Share material condition, desired output and the planned package so equipment selection starts with a realistic processing duty.

Preparation & scope

What sits before
this step.

Beetroot needs a defined pre-sort for soil, stones and damaged roots before washing. If peel is removed, the peeling method and wastewater load are separate decisions from pressing or pulping; colour and texture may change with the cut and hold time.
