Define the prepared feed

Specify how peas are received and prepared, including any upstream softening. The finisher needs a consistent feed condition, while its screens and reject stream must suit the skins and coarse fibre that actually enter.

02 / application

Choose texture by trial

Agree the desired smoothness and acceptable particles before selecting screens. Sample processing establishes whether one or two stages suit the product and how usable pulp and residue are separated.

Connect the next machine

Describe the buffer volume, transfer distance and intended recipe or package. Pumping, mixing and heat treatment must suit the puree condition; they should not be selected from a juice application rating alone.

Preparation & scope

What sits before
this step.

Fresh or frozen peas may need pod or skin removal and a defined softening step before pulping. State whether the process begins with field peas, frozen peas or a prepared puree; the finisher, buffer and thermal duty change with that starting point.
