Sketch the product path
Mark receiving, preparation, transfer, buffering and packing, including feed and discharge heights. A flat-belt conveyor is not automatically an elevator; a change in height needs a separately specified transfer arrangement.
List available services
Identify electricity, water, heating and cooling services where applicable, plus drainage and waste handling. Ask for the actual machine connection requirements in the quoted specification rather than assuming a standard utility load.
Leave operational access
Allow room for guards, screen removal, brush replacement, cleaning and inspection. Include operators and maintenance access in the footprint, not only the visible base frame dimensions.
