Washing Soil Load and Water-Solids Boundary

Match receiving soil, stone removal, wash-water handling and brush contact to the actual incoming vegetable.

01 / selection

Measure the receiving condition

Identify the vegetable, delivery format, size spread, loose soil, adhered clay, stones and damaged material. Use a representative receiving sample and record the basis. A clean demonstration sample can understate the drain and solids duty.

02 / selection

Separate removal duties

Define pre-sort, destoning or pre-wash duties before a brush washer where needed. Select brush contact for the product skin and acceptable damage. The brush machine does not become a destoner, peeler or validated microbial reduction process.

03 / selection

Close the water and solids boundary

List fresh-water entry, recirculation, final rinse, screens, settling, drain access and removed soil. Agree water-quality checks and how solids are removed during operation. Run the expected dirty-feed condition when checking downstream carry-over and cleaning access.
